The appointment
Dr Andria van der Merwe has joined BRG as a Managing Director in its Securities & Financial Markets practice in Chicago. She brings 15 years of economic consulting experience across antitrust, securities and financial regulation, including testimony involving financial derivatives and cryptocurrencies.
Her work has addressed market manipulation, anticompetitive conduct, collusion and digital-asset classification, using economic and econometric analysis to assess liability, market efficiency and damages.
